Chennai (TN): Social Democratic party of India organized a nationwide protest demanding immediate firm and sincere action against corruption ailing the country. In Tamilnadu this demand gains public support and general public at large expressed their anger through SDPI organized protest demonstration held at various places throughout tamilnadu.Campaign against corruption through pasting posters, street meets public meets and protest demonstration conducted. It condemned Spectrum irregularities common wealth scam Adarsh scam IPL scam Madhukoda scam and other recently exposed scams.
It expressed deep concern over thousands of taxpayers money being siphoned as bribe to swiss banks and foreign countries . Those involved in were not prosecuted, remain scot-free and probe set up by the government serves merely eyewash.
These scams happens while common man striving hard for his livelihood, ordinary peasants struggling for his existence, daily wagers stranding on the streets for meager wages
Protests held throughout tamilnadu . protesters demanded investigation into the alleged involvement of Karnataka chief minister and his cabinet colleagues in land scam and stern action against other scams too.
It urges the mass public to unite against corruption .
Further it says Spectrum scam itself costs Rs 1,76,360 Crores of taxpayers money. Karnataka chief minister yeddiyoorappa scam around 6000 crores.
