Sdpi to contest in 10 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu

SDPi state assembly decides not go with alliance with the state parties if its demand on increasing the Muslim representation in State Assembly election not agreed .  And SDPi will contest in 10 Assembly seats in TN.

In the state representative assembly held at Chennai today (5th march 2011) at Imperial hotel Egmore nad the assembly elected  
KKSM Dehlan Baqvi as the new TN state President, Abdul Hameed (a) Haji Bilal as Vice President, Nellai Mubarak, SM Mohammed Rafiq, B. Abdul Hameed was selected as General Secretaries respectively, G Abdul Sathara, I Abubacker Sidiq were selected as Secretaries and A Ahmad Basha was selected as treasurer.

Mohamed Mubarak(Trichy), Abu Tahir (Kovai), Abdul Salam (Ramanathapuram), Mohamed Basheer(Trirupur), Nisar (Tutircorn) and Syed Ali (Nagerkoil) were selected as  state working committee members.

Followed the election a view of the parties national growth was reported.Then the state representatives questions were answered by the state functionaries.

The following decisions of Assembly meet:

1.Sdpi a national party has now empowered as strength to participate in assembly election within in the span of one and half year. Sdpi shall go with alliance with the party which promises reservation for Muslims as 5% and systemise the Wakf board. So else Sdpi will contest in 10 seats in the forth coming Tamilnadu assembly election.

2. The state parties who alot a good number of seats to class who represent a mere number or particular demographic location. Hence all partes should alot a minimum of 10 seats to muslim community.

3. Sdpi condemns  Srilankan navy for killings of innocent Tamil fishermen and demand the state government to take productive action to safe the the lives and belongings of Tamil fishermen.

4.The sethu project should be implemented as soon as possible.

5. The state government should implement complete liquor free state status,  using the IPC Sec -4.

6. The state government should give apermanent solution to lakhs weavers of Tirupur who have lost their job.

7. The Central government should take neccassary action to get the 72 lakh crores black  money deposited in foreign banks by the corrupt politicians and  businessmen. And use the money for people development schemes.

8.The committee demand the state govt. to discharge police officer Rathanasabathy from his duty who tries to implicate muslims as terrorist in Kovai 2002fake bomb blast drama.
